Abstract

In this paper, the gene sequence theory and chaos theory are combined to construct a new image encryption method. Firstly, the pixel position of the original image is scrambled by Kubo chaotic map and wavelet chaotic map. Secondly, the image pixel distribution is changed by logical chaos mapping and threshold segmentation. Finally, the final image encryption effect is achieved by pseudo gene sequence coding scheme. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method, continue to test the key sensitivity, three-way correlation and other aspects, and fully verify the good security performance of this encryption method. If the key changes by 0.01%, it cannot be decrypted correctly. After encryption, the correlation of the three directions is reduced to below 0.003.
