Abstract

The mechanism of scale inhibition by alloys was studied using electrochemistrical method in order to study anti-scale alloys. An anti-scale instrument was developed with special alloys and dynamic circulation experiments were carried out. The influence of hardness, velocity, and temperature was analyzed by anti-scale experiments with different concentrations. The morphology of CaCO3 crystal was observed by SEM technology. Result reveals that the morphology of CaCO3 crystal is changed by the special alloys, Hardness and temperature have no obvious influence on anti-scale effect, and velocity influences the anti-scale effect to a certain degree.
