Abstract

By analyzing the characterization way for flue gas humidity in gas-liquid regions of a spray dryer, a multipoint synchronous data acquisition wet-bulb temperature measuring set was developed to study the measurement of temperature-humidity fields. Results show that within the range of dry-bulb temperature from 90°C to 120°C and wet-bulb temperature from 40°C to 60°C, variation of flue gas humidity can be qualitatively characterized by the wet-bulb temperature, which will be kept relatively stable for 30-40s after humidifying performance completed; the closer the humidifying water temperature getting to the wet-bulb temperature, the less the measurement error will be; the results of multi-point measurement agree well with that of single-point measurement in both the dense and sparse liquid phase regions; the liquid phase distribution characteristics of measured section can be qualitatively obtained by comparing the temperature of naked thermocouple with that of wet-bulb.
