Abstract
The method of steady state reverse saturable absorption was proposed and the triple first excited state absorption cross sections of C60 (at 488 nm wavelength and 514.5 nm wavelength respectively) were measured using this method. Owing to that only one modulated quasi-continuous Ar+ laser is used, this method is simpler than other methods and the requirements of light source and detector are significantly reduced.
