Measure simulation of enhancing adsorption and capture carbon dioxide from flue gas

Abstract

Tube-in-tube type adsorber was designed and proposed based on analyzing various influencing factors as well as heat effect in the process of adsorption and desorption. And then its mathematical model was established and solved. Finally, the adsorbing capacity and desorption rate of adsorber were simulated at the condition of different temperatures of water bubbled into it. Results showed that tube-in-tube type adsorber could enhance carbon dioxide adsorption and capture from flue gas, which are helpful for potential engineering application.
