Abstract

A 2-band filter banks' perfect reconstruction condition is presented, a multicarrier modulation based on the wavelet packet is provided for a fast arithmetic. A MC-CDMA system based on the wavelet packet was designed, and the capability of the system was simulated. The results indicate that when the optimal wavelet packet is selected, the MC-CDMA based on the wavelet packet is better than the OFDM MC-CDMA.
