Abstract
To solve the problem of detection and estimation of maneuvering HF radar multi-targets with low SNR, a signal processing scheme including multiple signal decomposition and reconstruction, parameter estimation and movement compensation, is proposed. Firstly, by using adaptive Chirplet decomposition and minimum RMS errors signal reconstruction, multi-targets signal processing problems could be converted to a single target ones; Secondly, a DPT (Discrete Time Polynomial-phase Transform) is used to estimate the high-order movement parameters of the targets, namely, the acceleration and etc; Finally, better target parameter estimation precision and higher output SNR can be achieved by compensating the high-order target movement impact on signal processing. Simulation results verify the validity of proposed algorithm and the advantage compared with the traditional signal processing approach.
