Abstract

Magnetic properties of the Heusler alloy Co2TiAl synthesized by melt-spinning technique have been investigated by physical property measurement system (PPMS). The Co2TiAl ribbon exhibits a weak itinerant ferromagnetic behavior as observed from magnetization and susceptibility studies. The value of μpf is little larger than unit and Ms2 exhibits a T2 law, implying that spin fluctuations play an important role in this alloy.
