Abstract
In this paper, for a missile with blended lateral jets and aerodynamic fins, output tracking is realized by a switching control in a hybrid control architecture. The switching control strategy is divided into four phases in terms of practical guidance and control course. The switching conditions, from one phase to another, are given. Lateral jets and aerodynamic fins are adopted separately in respective phases. In the phase of lateral jets, model redictive control, based on Fliess functional expansion, is used to determine the firing logic, while in the phase of aerodynamic fins, asymptotic output tracking control, based on exact linearization, is used to design a continuous output tracking control law. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
