Abstract

In this paper, we proposed a VBLAST and space-frequency block codes (SFBC) joint transmit scheme to exploit both multiplexing and diversity gain in MIMO/OFDM systems. LLL lattice reduction is applied before the signal detections to improve the bit error rate (BER) performance. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme significantly exploits diversity gain while high data rate is obtained. At the same time, the simulation results confirm that the BER performance is improved obviously when LLL lattice reduction is applied to channel matrix.
