Abstract

The kinetic modeling of cutting fluid penetrated capillary was proposed on the basis of theoretical analyzing its lubricating action and penetrating capillary process. Through calculating time of penetrating capillary for water and castor oil cutting fluid, the results show that the required condition that there is lubricating action for cutting fluid is that there is a necessary storing time that the capillaries of cutting zone are filled in by them and formed lubricating films.
