Abstract
Moving mass control is one of the most remarkable aspects in the field of control technology of missile in recent years. In this method, the moving mass is adopted to control the flight of the missile. The disadvantages of traditional pneumatic actuator control for missiles are overcome including slow response, complex aerodynamic shape and rudder surface ablation etc. Therefore it can be used in the field of hypersonic flight control within the atmosphere. In this paper, the principle and applications of moving mass technology were described, development of moving mass control was reviewed, research trend including the overall layout, dynamic modeling, control system design were analyzed, Several problems were mentioned for relevant personnel, these still need to be solved.
