Abstract
To deal with the multiple products Joint Replenishment Problem (JRP) with fuzzy resource constraint, fuzzy programming model was constructed to minimize the sum of order cost and inventory holding cost, using triangular fuzzy number to represent the fuzzy resource constraints. The decision variables were the basic replenishment cycle time and the order cycle of each item respectively. A Genetic Algorithm (GA) was presented to solve the JRP model with fuzzy resource constraint, The fitness function value of the chromosome was taken as the objective value of fuzzy programming model. Genetic operations such as chromosome coding, selection, crossover and mutation were also discussed. Finally, simulation numerical example was given, and comparisons were made between fuzzy resource constraint model and deterministic resource constraint model for 1600 stochastic problems.
