Abstract
In order to improve the quality of the ISAR image for maneuvering targets, a new ISAR imaging algorithm for maneuvering targets based on LWVD is proposed. The instantaneous ISAR image was obtained by calculating the LWVD of different range bins. Compared with the classical time-frequency distributions, the LWVD has a better concentration for time-frequency representations of signals. There's no cross-term interference for multi-component signals, and the LWVD can be calculated easily. The simulated results demonstrate the validity of this method.
