Abstract

The measurements of spatio and temporal gradients affect the accuracy of differential-based optical flow algorithms. Temporal aliasing arising from motion makes the computation of temporal gradient inaccuracy. In this paper we propose a spatio-temporal filter to improve the above situation. Experiments have shown encouraging results using a sequence of real images and a sequence of natural images.
