Abstract

Numerical investigation of flow structure was done in a low speed axial compressor's stator passage. There are three large vortexes exist in the stator passage with blade hub tip at design condition. They are the passage vortex at up side, the scraping vortex near hub tip and the concentrated shed vortex. These vortexes interact each other at their generation and development proceeding. The total number of singular points increases at first and decreases at last. But it obeys the rule of singular points number in the passage.
