Abstract

The electronic power steering system requires the performance of rapid and robust. This paper first proposes a control method where a transition angle variable is designed to avoid shock response once angle sudden changes, using Laplace transform to get the approximate angular speed signal and transition angle both merged to determine the target torque of control loop, In addition, the disturbance observer is designed to identify unknown noise which is used to compensate in the control loop to suppress ripple of torque. Both simulation model of control scheme and experiments will be performed to verify the feasibility.
