Introduction of electromagnetic torque increase of hybrid magnet-circuit multi-coupling motor

Abstract

The paper analyzes the electromagnetic torque increase of the motor. The electromagnetic torque comparison is made between hybrid magnet-circuit multi-coupling motor and hybrid stepping motor through theoretical analysis and experimental research, which shows the increase effect of hybrid magnet-circuit multi-coupling motor. Electromagnetic torque of hybrid magnet-circuit multi-coupling motor is resolved by equivalent magnet net model. The analysis shows that the torque is composed of permanent torque, reluctant torque and axial coil torque. The existence of axial coil torque is the cause of torque increase of this motor compared with hybrid stepping motor. The experiment proves the result of theory analysis and shows the advanced effect of axial coils for the torque and the use of iron lamination.
