Abstract
China’s shipbuilding industry depends on manufacturing with incomplete industry chain, small industry relevance and insufficient complementary equipment. It’s very important for improving international competitiveness of China’s shipbuilding industry to take opportunities in the industry chain integration process, increase the relevance between different industries and add service element into the industry. This paper analyzes the relevance of China’s shipbuilding industry by using the rate of intermediate inputs, the coefficient of complete consumption and the coefficient of complete partition. It shows that individual link of China’s shipbuilding industry is underdeveloped and the overall relevance isn’t strong. This article also gives suggestions.
