Abstract

Coupled heat transfer model of radiation in semitransparent glass and air laminar convection in vertical channel of optical cavity was solved by finite volume method (FVM) and Discrete Ordinate Method (DOM) in this paper, and influences of glass semitransparent characteristic on heating optical cavity were investigated, and effects of temperature and velocity of channel inlet on convective heat transfer of air channel wall were also studied. The results show that glass semitransparent characteristics play an important role in temperature environment of optical cavity, and the harmful influence bring by glass semitransparent characteristic is not effectively eliminated by only improving velocity of channel inlet.
