Abstract
An experimental study on the cyclone burner of a 1025 t/h down-fired boiler was carried out on a gas-solid two-phase flow test facility. With different vent air valve openings, the influence of the position of the adjustable vane on the characteristics of gas distribution, system resistance and particle separating efficiency of the cyclone burner with different vent air valve openings was acquired. The results show that when the vent air valve opening was 20% and 40% respectively, with the adjustable vane away from the nozzle, both the ratio of vent air and the system resistance decrease, while the particle separating efficiency increases. As the vent air valve opening decreases, the vent air ratio decreases obviously while the system resistance increases slightly.
