Abstract
The key technique of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging is motion compensation, reference presented a method by means of range profile correlation alignment and phase alignment, but, when this method is applied to the data obtained from an experimental ISAR, it sometimes failed. In this paper, some improvements are made on the range profile alignment procedure of this method, the results of processing the experimental ISAR data show these improvements are efficient.
