Abstract
To solve the problem of low recovery rate in dealing with oil spill by DIP technology, the methods of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are applied. The working principle of DIP is analyzed to ascertain that poor dragging performance is the major reason for low recovery rate of DIP. To improve the DIP, the floating drainage weir, of which type being curved practical weir, is applied to cooperate with dynamical inclined plane, so the dual dragging effect is achieved and enhanced. The mathematical model about dual dragging effect in improved DIP is built and numerical simulation is carried out. The simulation results show that dragging effect in improved DIP is strengthened evidently and recovering oil spill rapidly can be realized.
