Improved delay-dependent stability criterion for T-S fuzzy systems with time delay

Abstract

This paper addresses the stability problem of fuzzy systems with time delays. The stability conditions, which are less conservative than the existing results, are derived by a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
