Abstract
A platform with 4 ADSP-TS101Ss was used to estimate the parameters of radar signals. This platform made use of an algorithm based on an improved cubic phase function for estimating the parameters of linear frequency modulation (LFM) radar signals. It required a second-order nonlinear transform that yielded the maximization of the parameter field to estimate the parameters. For multi-component LFM signals, this paper discusses the relationship between time and the self-term and cross-term, and proposes a method which effectively constrains cross-terms with weighted means to improve the algorithm. Experiments showed that the method effectively estimates the parameters of multi-component LFM signals in low SNR.
