Abstract

A brief introduction of the theory of three-line charge coupled device (CCD) camera is proposed and the mechanism of image motion loss of three-line CCD camera on account of earth rotation is presented. The mathematical relationship between the pattern of attitude maneuver and effective imaging area is set up based on the programming of tracking strategy of the satellite. The tracking strategy of the satellite is found when the mathematical expression gets the maximum value. Finally, the desired attitude maneuver angle and angular velocity during attitude tracking are presented.
