Identification of highway dangerous driving behavior based on Hidden Markov Model

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper extracts four dangerous driving behavior characteristic factors (vehicle speed, acceleration, time headway, distance from the right edge of the line to vehicle). Combined with Hidden Markov Model, they are applied in the study of highway identification of dangerous driving behavior. Taking recognition accuracy as evaluation index, proved the feasibility of Hidden Markov Model. Results show that the model can effectively identify the highway dangerous drivng behavior.
