Abstract
A delay-dependent robust H∞ estimation technique is proposed for linear uncertain systems with multiple time-varying state delays. The uncertain parameters are supposed to reside in a polytope and the attention is focused on the design of robust filters which are dependent of the size of delay and guarantee a prescribed noise attenuation level. The admissible filters can be obtained from the solution of a convex optimization problem in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be solved via efficient interior-point algorithms. Two examples illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method, with the conclusion that it outperforms previous results in several aspects.
