Abstract
A portable Cr3+ detection system is researched and developed with Cr3+ fluorescent probe as a detection reagent. This optical detection system has many advantages such as high-sensitivity and rapid response, which can be used for on-site testing. Fluorescence detection experiments are carried out for a range of different concentrations of Cr3+ in aqueous solutions. And a concentration calculation model is built on the basis of eliminating interference of excitation spectrum in the fluorescence spectra with mathematical method. A method to improve detection sensitivity is studied by optimizing the design of the detection system.
