Abstract
Piezoelectric actuators are widely used in the field of fast precision positioning and micro-operation due to their high precision, quick response, and small size. Piezoelectric ceramics require high voltages to generate sufficient forces and displacements, for the ceramics to respond quickly, it must be driven using a power amplifier capable of quickly supplying high voltage and current. In this paper, a new type AB-D power amplifier is designed and studied, which has a simple structure, and small size. Good linearity between input and output, maximum output voltage of 100 V. The topology and operating principle of the power amplifier are introduced in detail, and the capacitor is used to equivalently piezoelectric ceramics. The experimental results show that under the condition of a 1μF capacitor, the step rise and fall time is within 40μs, which meets the needs of fast driving of piezoelectric ceramics.
