Abstract

In order to solve the hard problem of laser instability, an electro-optically Q-switched Ce:Nd:YAG laser by using the optimized concavo-convex cavity is demonstrated. The laser with the optimized cavity is insensitive to the thermal lens of laser crystal and has excellent stability of average output pulse energy and threshold voltage under different environment temperature of -45, 25, and 55°C.
