N2 - In this paper, a low profile compact antenna array based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is proposed. Its structure is a twelve-channels equal power divider connected with twelve column slot antenna arrays. Each slot antenna unit of the proposed antenna array is located in the top metal, and the feeding process is realized by connecting coaxial-to-waveguide adapter through the opening of the bottom metal. The size of the proposed antenna array is 92.08mm×61.6mm×1.72mm, which is extremely compact. The proposed antenna array works from 34.4GHz to 35.6GHz, achieving greater than 20dBi and a reflection coefficient lower than -12dB, and relative bandwidth reaches 3.43×.
