Abstract

Global automotive industries are shifting fundamentally through the merger of automobile technologies and consumer electronics technologies. Through the application of infotainment, latest driver attention, and novel driver assistance systems (ADAS), the technologies revolutionize transport through the enhancement of user experience, convenience, and safety. Maximization of the potential of advanced driver attention systems should be carried out through the use of human-centric philosophies of design, which emphasize user needs, lifestyle, and safety. The special issue addresses the merger of automotive engineering and consumer electronics, centering on strategies that enhance the design, development, and application of new ADAS technologies while emphasizing the deliverance of the superior user experience.
