Abstract

Based on experimental study on compressive strength of concrete corroded by hydrochloric acid, Grey system theory was applied in this paper. A novel Grey model GM (1, 1) was established to predict the compressive strength of concrete corroded by hydrochloric acid. The predicting results achieved by GM (1, 1) show good agreement with the experimental results. It is shown that the method put forward in this paper is a feasible and reliable method for the prediction of the compressive strength of the corroded concrete.
