Abstract
Aiming at the current relay node placement algorithms always ignore the energy consumption of the entire networks, we present a new evaluation standard based on the minimum distance factor of communicating network, and we take the forbidden placement region and the irreversible factor in the forwarding paths into the existing fault-tolerant relay node placement model. A relay node placement algorithm is implemented in solutions based on greedy optimization algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate that the new algorithm can limit the communication capacity of relay nodes conveniently. Compared with other placement algorithms, improvement of energy-efficiencies and energy-equalization are obvious in this algorithm.
