Abstract
The relative advantages and limitations of the various geophysical techniques for monitoring geologic carbon storage presented in this book are summarized. Some potential areas for future research are outlined, including real-time monitoring, cost-effective monitoring, and fusion of geophysical data with pressure and geochemical data to improve the monitoring sensitivity and effectiveness.
