Abstract
Geomagnetic diurnal variation (GDV) has serious influence on the accuracy and reliability of geomagnetic matching navigation. A novel geomagnetic matching algorithm under GDV influence is proposed. First, according to the characteristics of GDV, the correlation criterion under GDV influence is constructed to compensate the GDV. Then the parameterized model of matching track is built, and the correlation criterion is translated into a mathematical expression of the displacement, initial heading error and GDV error. Consequently, the geomagnetic matching problem is converted to the solutions of nonlinear equations. Finally, Broyden iteration is adopted to implement the geomagnetic matching algorithm under GDV influence. Simulation results indicate that the traditional geomagnetic matching algorithm fails to match under the influence of 50 nT GDV, while the matching error and the time consumed by the proposed algorithm are 0.0032° and 16 ms respectively under the same conditions. The proposed algorithm can meet the requirement of accuracy and real-time performance under GDV influence.
