abstract = "Rotating systems are abundant in many engineering applications, from helicopter rotors to wind turbines. Differently from the linear time-invariant case, such systems are periodically time-varying and cannot be characterized by parameters as frequencies or damping ratios in modal analysis. A simple description is given by the so-called Floquet multipliers which replace the typical modal parameters. The objective of this paper is to identify those multipliers using a subspace approach. The method is then applied to data from a real wind turbine.",
