N2 - By resorting to finite-time sliding mode control (SMC) strategy and fuzzy approximation technique, a robust control scheme is designed for two continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTRs) with partially unknown dynamics. The unknown dynamics is approximated by utilizing fuzzy technique such that its adverse impacts on designing controller can be eliminated. Meanwhile, the presented SMC scheme is capable to make the closed loop system converge in finite time, and obtain a favorable control performance. In the end, theoretical analysis and simulation results are given to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of our method.
