title = "Fully distributed consensus algorithms for double integrators under heterogeneous topologies",
abstract = "We study the consensus problems for double integrators in this paper. Different from the existing works, the position and the velocity interactions among the agents are modeled by different graphs. We consider two different velocity interactions, namely, the balanced graph and a general directed graph. We propose fully distributed consensus algorithms with absolute velocity damping when position topology is undirect connected. In the first case where the velocity topology is balanced, all agents have heterogeneous constant damping gains. In the second case where the velocity topology is a general directed graph, we first propose a control algorithm with heterogeneous control gains. It is shown that the damping gains should be above some positive bounds. We then propose fully distributed algorithms with varying damping gains, which are updated by adaptive laws.",
