Abstract

In order to master the vibration characteristics of inflatable supporting tube based on the assumption of small deformation, the stress distribution of an inflatable supporting tube is analyzed in this paper, and ANSYS software is utilized to have an in-depth study of vibration characteristics for the inflatable tube. Analysis shows that the nonlinear geometric has little effect on vibration characteristics of the structure; the inflatable pressure has impact on the natural frequency relating with material properties; the form and initial defects of the inflatable tube have a certain impact on the vibration characteristics; the exist of joints reduces the natural frequency of the structure; at the same time, in the vibration mode of inflatable tube, there exist an overall bending mode and a partial shell mode. Small deformation assumptions are suit able for the dynamic analysis of inflatable tube, its free vibration characteristics relate with the material properties, the structural form, the inflatable pressure, the joints and other factors.
