Abstract

The structure of hybrid magnetic-circuit multi-coupling motor is introduced. Flux weakening and strengthening control strategies are analyzed by resolution and simulation. The analysis and experimental result show that large torque in low speed is due to flux strengthening control and approximate constant power in high speed is due to flux weakening control. The motor characteristics are fit for application in wide range speed adjustment such as for electric vehicle.
