Abstract

In order to confirm the statue of the power fluid system for proactive maintenance, a new method is introduced to detect the weak pulse amplitude of particle signal buried in noise based on the matched filter theory. Its principle and the method to determine the filter coefficient when it is used for detecting signal amplitude are discussed. Generalized matched filter is designed through analyzing the property of the measuring system. The result shows that this method is simple and has less computational complexity. The weak particle signal not only can be reliably extracted from heavy noise, but also its amplitude can be recovered satisfactorily, so the precision and online monitoring ability of the measuring system are effectively improved using this method.
