Abstract

This paper introduces rheological property, thermo physical property, flow resistance and heat transfer characteristic of urban original sewage and the calculation thinking and method. Urban sewage is a new working fluid relative to the common fluid for example water, air, refrigerant in the HVAC engineering field. Its flow and heat transfer characteristics are different from that of clean water. It is absolute not to design and calculate them applying mechanically the formula of clean water. Some important achievements in the study of the urban sewage flow and heat transfer theory in recent years will be introduced below.
