Flight reliability evaluation for missile turbofan engine

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Carrying reliability evaluation on engines is an important means to check whether the engines meet the reliability requirements. According to various ground experiment data during development and some flight experiment data of a turbofan engine, this paper sets up an environment factor model by a method based on AMSAA model, gives out a method to solve the environment factor, and obtains equivalent flight data using the environment factor solved. Then it sets up a life distribution model for the engine in ground condition and during flight respectively, and implement the reliability evaluation.
