Abstract
In order to study the flexural performance of profiled steel sheet-concrete composite slabs with crossing steel bars, the static test of the profiled steel sheet-concrete composite slabs with crossing steel bars and the unreinforced composite slabs were carried out, and the corresponding finite element model was established. The parameters of the location and the spacing of the crossing steel bars were analyzed, and the stiffness calculation formula was given. The results show that: the profiled steel sheet-concrete composite slabs with crossing steel bars are reliable. It effectively improves the bending resistance of weak side direction of the composite slabs and it is suitable for two-way slabs designing. By using the short-term stiffness formula mentioned in this paper, the deflection value of the new composite slabs is smaller than the measured value. Under the same conditions, the peak load of the profiled steel sheet-concrete composite slabs with crossing steel bars is increased by 43%, and the stiffness increased by 114% compared to unreinforced composite slabs; compared to composite slabs with welded steel bars the peak load is increased by 9%, and the stiffness is increased by 40%. The cracking load is higher, and cracks develops slowly during the process of loading. When the number of steel bars increases from 3 to 7, the peak load is increased by 14.5%, and the stiffness increased by 23.3%. When the tension distance varies from 5 mm to 45 mm, the peak load is decreased by 11.7%, and the stiffness decreased by 12%.
