Abstract
With the development of society, the reliability requirements of electric vehicle motor drive system are increasing. Therefore, the research of multi-phase motor drive system has attracted more and more attention. This paper studies the topology and control strategy of the five-phase PMSM drive system based on current source inverter, and proposes an NFV-SVPWM strategy for the five-phase current source inverter. According to the characteristics of the amplitude and phase of the space current vector, combined with the principle of vector control, the algorithm keeps a certain proportion of the operating time of vectors in the same direction to eliminate the third harmonic. And the target current vector is synthesized in the fundamental coordinate system. The algorithm is simple and convenient, which can obviously reduce the harmonic of output current and improve DC bus voltage utilization. The simulation results show that the topology and control strategy can greatly expand the constant torque region of the motor under the same DC bus voltage compared with the traditional voltage source inverter. The PMSM can reach higher speed and realize the stable control of electromagnetic torque.
