Abstract

The data distribution scheme utilizing network coding can reduce the energy consumption of mobile peer-to-peer (mobile P2P). However, the efficiency of data distribution is limited by the dynamic variation of the network topology in the dynamic network environment. To improve the data distribution efficiency of mobile peer-to-peer network and reduce the energy consumption, network coding is studied in mobile P2P. Multiple network coding is proposed and multiple network coding feedback adjustment data transmission scheme is designed in the mobile P2P. The scheme also increases the coding times of the coding node and improves the amount of data reception of the downstream nodes. It was also shown to possibly shorten the time of data distribution in the dynamic network environment. Experimental results are consistent with theoretical analysis. The experimental results showed that the scheme can effectively improve the efficiency of data distribution.
