Abstract

A hybrid optical-digital feature extractor based on the Hough transformation was put forward to compute the nine types of performances quantities characterizing the geometric features and the invariant moments of an input image in real time, which are invariant to the translational and rotational motion as well as to the geometric scaling. The simulated results show that these nine quantities are really multi-invariant.
