Feasible data flow testing criteria for different applications

Abstract

A test data adequacy criterion is a predicate to determine whether a program is tested enough. A test data adequacy criterion is applicable if there is a set of test cases that satisfy the criteria for any program. But because of the infeasible statements and paths in some programs, most data flow testing criteria are not applicable. Based on an applicable family of data flow testing criteria, three new classes of applicable data flow testing criteria are provided and two of them have more stronger fault detecting ability than FDF criteria.
